The frescoes

Entering the Palace, on the left side of the entrance after a vast hall there is a room called the little study of the Count. This room was painted with frescos (1567 - 68) by the Zelotti.

The depressed barrel vault ceiling, is decorated with an elegant pattern of gold stuccoworks standing on a white background, work of Lorenzo Rubini. The stuccoworks frame the frescos; in the center, inside an oval, stand Aurora and the Horae.
In the four hexagonal frames are: Mars and Time, Venus and Adonis, Hercules killing Cacus and a shipwreck scene.

In the other tiles are the allegorical figure of Concordia, Time, an Angel covered with stars, Mercury and Fame.
Above the window, a little bust seems to be the portrait of Leonardo Valmarana.
